Finally, some
rain! After a long period of dry weather, rain has finally found us.
Do the tires on your vehicle have enough tread depth to cut through
water on the road? Puddles like the one this truck just drove through are especially dangerous if your tires don't have enough tread to channel the water away. Here is the easiest way to check if you do not have
a tread depth gauge: using a penny, put it on the tire as seen in the
picture below and look across the tread. If you can see the top of Lincoln's
head, it is time for some new tires. Once new tires have been mounted and balanced, it is a great idea to get an alignment to maximize the life of the tread. Come talk to the experts in our Parts and Service Departments to select the best tires for your vehicle and how you use it. We can then mount and road-force balance your new tires to give you the smoothest possible ride!
